Jorgen Kokke will be promoted to executive vice president, global specialties and president, North America, for Ingredion.
 
WESTCHESTER, Ill. — Ingredion, Inc. has announced several executive leadership changes relating to the promotion of Jim Zallie to president and CEO on Jan. 1. Zallie was picked as the successor to Ilene Gordon, current president and CEO, back in September.

Effective Feb. 5, 2018, Jorgen Kokke will be promoted to executive vice president, global specialties and president, North America. Kokke joined Ingredion in 2009 as vice president and general manager of EMEA. He later became senior vice president and general manager of Asia-Pacific from 2014-16 and has been senior vice president and president, Asia-Pacific and EMEA since January 2016. Before joining Ingredion he was with Corbion, where he was responsible for the company’s global food and nutrition business.

Pierre
Pierre Perez Y Landazuri has been promoted to senior vice president and president, EMEA, for Ingredion.
 
Pierre Perez Y Landazuri was promoted to senior vice president and president, EMEA, effective Jan. 1. He also will become a member of the company’s executive leadership team.

Perez Y Landazuri joined Ingredion in 2016 as vice president and general manager for EMEA. Earlier, he was vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific at CP Kelco. He also has held executive positions with Hercules, BASF and Rohm and Haas.

Ernesto
Ernesto Pousada, senior vice president and president, South America, for Ingredion, will be part of the executive leadership team. 
 
Joining Perez Y Landazuri on the executive leadership team will be Ernesto Pousada, senior vice president and president, South America. Pousada joined Ingredion in February 2016 after serving as chief operating officer at Suzano Papel e Celulose. Prior to Suzano he held various positions with Dow Chemical for 15 years.
