Bridgewater, New Jersey-based Applegate will be spreading holiday cheer with its Season’s Meatings campaign which starts on Dec. 2. Applegate is a subsidiary of Austin, Minnesota-based Hormel Foods.

The organic meat brand will launch The Bacon Express, a pop-up food truck that will be “bacon spirits bright” on a two-week tour in select East Coast cities. The tour will finish at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall featuring the “Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes.” Applegate is an official partner of the Rockettes’ show.

The Bacon Express tour will start in Orlando, Florida and travel north to Atlanta, Alexandria, Virginia, and Philadelphia, before finishing in New York City. During each stop the Bacon Express will serve complimentary bacon treats created by Chef Ian Knauer — from candied bacon to bacon hot chocolate.

“For so many families, the Radio City Rockettes and the Christmas Spectacular have become a holiday tradition that we are incredibly honored to become a part of, as the only official natural and organic meat partner of the production,” said Nicole Glenn, Applegate vice president of marketing. “We are very excited for the opportunity to serve our hot dogs — the inspiration behind our mission — at food and beverage stands inside Radio City Music Hall and hope attendees will leave with the desire to look for other Applegate products during their next grocery store visit.”

Applegate has joined The Madison Square Garden Co. as an official partner of the “Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes.” As a partner, Applegate will sell Applegate Naturals Beef Hot Dogs at the concession stand during the show. The “Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes” is running through Jan. 1, 2018.
