Available for a limited time, the pizza combines Sbarro’s classic XL New York slice pizza with 100 percent all-beef meatballs. It also features daily made dough, topped with Roman sauce, Mama Sbarro's all-beef meatballs, dollops of creamy ricotta cheese and 100 percent whole milk mozzarella.
"We are excited to pair our new and improved all-beef meatball with our famous XL New York pizza in a recipe sure to please all meatball lovers," said Casey Minton, Sbarro's chief concept officer. "In upgrading to an all-beef meatball, we've created a broader appeal to those whose dietary restrictions may have limited their interest in our former pork and beef meatball."
The Mama's Meatball NY Style Pizza will be available for purchase at participating restaurants through Nov. 11.
