The pairing will create new menu offering to celebrate National Filet Mignon Day.

LOS ANGELES – Black Angus and Avalon Winery have teamed up to offer a wine pairing menu item for National Filet Mignon Day.

"Filet mignon is our best-selling steak, so National Filet Mignon Day is the perfect holiday to not only honor the steak, but partner with the beloved Sonoma-based Avalon Winery," Liz Geavaras, chief marketing officer, Black Angus Steakhouse said in a statement. "The special dinner pairs our filet mignon with Avalon's popular California Cabernet Sauvignon, which has tasting notes of dark fruit, mocha and spice, with hints of vanilla."

Black Angus’ Facebook page and Prime Club email club are the only places to acquire the coupon needed to receive the offer. The featured pairing will consist of:

  • (2) 6-oz. tender Filet Mignon steaks, served with two Classic Sidekicks and Warm Molasses Bread
  • Paired with a bottle of Avalon California Cabernet Sauvignon

The special dinner pairing will be available at participating locations from Friday, Aug. 11 through Sunday, Aug. 13 for $58.
