Greg Hetfield receives industry award for serving college and university foodservice channel.
 
AUSTIN, Minn. – Based on his support of the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS), Hormel Food Corp.’s Greg Hetfield, national sales manager for colleges and universities, foodservice, was recently awarded the Daryl Van Hook Industry Award.

“In 2011, Greg was named our national sales manager for colleges and universities. This was a new position with no play book, and Greg began to develop our strategy in this critical segment,” said Mark Ourada, Hormel’s vice president of sales, foodservice.

To be eligible, nominees for the award are judged on their educational support of the college and university foodservice channel; product innovation into the segment’ involvement and service with the NACUFS; and providing marketing and sales support for the channel’s needs.

“Working closely with the customers, as well as our team, Greg has taken us to the highest levels of engagement and respect within this channel. This award represents the top of the top in the college and university segment, and Greg is certainly deserving of this honor,” said Ourada.

Founded in 1958 The NACUFS supports the college and university foodservices segment by providing members with programs and resources to educate, improve and establishing networking among its members.
