COLUMBUS, OHIO – Bob Evans is launching its “Fit from the Farm menu,” which feature menu items alongside listings of their calories, fat, saturated fat and sodium levels.

"Without compromising homestyle tastes, this new menu provides plenty of options for our guests,” said Mary Cusick, Bob Evans senior vice president of marketing. “Balanced eating is an everyday part of life. All the nutritional details are listed directly on the menu."

The new offerings contain 650 calories (35% or less from fat and less than 10% from saturated fat) or less and 750 mg. or less sodium. They are also trans fat-free and contain no M.S.G. dishes feature:

"Guests who are following a 2,000 calorie daily diet could eat three meals a day off of the Bob Evans new Fit from the Farm menu and stay within those guidelines," Ms. Cusick said.
