Bethenny Frankel and the Skinnygirl Market Fresh Deli products are available in four flavor profiles.
 
SMITHFIELD, Va. – Smithfield Foods Inc., announced a partnership making the processing company the licensee of four varieties of packaged lunch meats under the Skinnygirl Market Fresh Deli brand.  Offering both turkey and ham options, each in 7-oz.., resealable packages, the deli meats are less than 80 calories per serving and are marketed as gluten and preservative free with no added nitrites, nitrates or artificial ingredients. The products, which are endorsed by the American Heart Association for their low sodium and fat content, include: Herb Encrusted Roast Turkey Breast; Clover Honey Smoked Turkey Breast; Applewood Smoked Uncured Ham; and Cane Sugar Sweet Uncured Ham.

Mike Paribello, senior director of new brands and categories for Smithfield Foods said in a statement the new line of products delivers on what many consumers are demanding today: , “A convenient protein option that doesn't sacrifice flavor. We're excited to bring a healthy solution to the refrigerated aisle and show how pre-packaged lunchmeat can be low in calories but high in flavor."

Founder of Skinnygirl, TV star Bethenny Frankel said the new line of deli meats provide a healthy choice for consumers unwilling to sacrifice flavor.

The products are available at supermarkets, including Publix and Kroger with a suggested retail price of $4.49.
