NORTHGLENN, Colo. – Diners at Chicago’s Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse will soon be able to enjoy Niman Ranch Certified Humane pork chops when they dine at the world-famous steakhouse. Thanks to a partnership between Niman Ranch and Chicago-based Purely Meat Co., Niman’s Certified Humane beef, pork, lamb and prepared products will soon be distributed to Chicago and Indianapolis area restaurants.

“The folks at Purely Meat share a commitment to quality products and building integrity-based relationships that makes them a natural fit with our family farmers and ranchers who produce our great tasting meat,” said Niman Ranch General Manager Jeff Tripician.

Niman Ranch meat is third-party-certified under the Certified Humane program. All products are sustainably raised without the use of antibiotics or hormones. Niman Ranch meat is raised by a community of more than 720 small, independent US family farmers.

“Here at Purely, I have built a business searching out partners that share our passion for family, farming and food,” said Maribel Moreno-Musillami, owner of Purely Meat. “We continue to search long and hard and are proud to join into a partnership with Niman Ranch. Niman exemplifies these values in every pound of meat produced.”

In addition to restaurants in the Chicago and Indianapolis market, Purely Meat will work with Hyatt Hotels to provide a full line of Niman Ranch products to Chicago-area hotels.
