The restaurant that introduced the infamous Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Burger — Oakville, Ontario-based The WORKS Gourmet Burger Bistro – has announced another chocolate burger creation, which features Nutella. The Hella Good ‘Tella features a WORKS bacon and beef patty topped with maple bacon and an onion ring filled with the popular hazelnut and chocolate spread. The burger will be available in time for Easter, but only for a limited time on its Baconism menu.
Other WORKs burger creations include the Chorizo Your Own Adventure Burger — a burger topi with chorizo sausage, Dijon bacon slaw, banana peppers and onion strings; the Bacon You Fancier Huh? Burger that’s topped with white cheddar, thick-cut maple bacon, bacon roasted tomatoes, arugula and mayo. As an appetizer the offers its Wrecking Balls — bacon-wrapped cheddar tator tots served with bacon roasted garlic aioli and served on a bed of bacon sticks.
“We were the first burger restaurant to put peanut butter on a burger, the first to put Kraft Dinner on a burger, the first to offer 11 different types of cheese, and we were the first to cause an international media frenzy when we created the Reese PBC and stuffed a burger with Reese peanut butter cups,” said Bruce Miller, president and CEO of The WORKS Gourmet Burger Bistro. “Now, we’re excited for our latest gourmet success with the new Hella Good ‘Tella where we’ve combined the best of two worlds —Nutella and a gourmet burger.”
The WORKS “Baconism” Burgers are available in all 27 restaurant locations for a limited time — from April 10 through June 11.
