McLane Company will provide distribution services to an additional 600 Burger King restaurants.
 

TEMPLE, Texas – Burger King and McLane Foodservice Inc. have agreed to extend a service agreement in which McLane will provide distribution services to an additional 600 restaurants in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida and Alabama from eight distribution center across the United States. The new agreement brings the total number of stores McLane services to 2,467.

“In the highly competitive QSR industry, Burger King continues to up its game in terms of menu offerings and the locations served,” said Tom Zatina, president of McLane. “We are honored the company has entrusted us with their foodservice supply chain needs over time and we look forward to further contributing to their success.”

Burger King, a unit of Restaurant Brands International, has used McLane Foodservice as a primary distributor since 2000, according to McLane, a leading supply chain services firm that supplies grocery and foodservice supply chain solutions for convenience stores, mass merchants, drug stores and chain restaurants throughout the US. McLane, through McLane Grocery and McLane Foodservice, operates 83 distribution centers has one of the nation’s largest private fleets. McLane buys, sells and delivers more than 50,000 different consumer products to more than 100,000 locations.
