Eric Dickerson brings his new barbecue brand to NFL stadiums, starting with the Super Bowl.

PHILADELPHIA – Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson is heading to the Super Bowl. More specifically, his EDQ barbecue is heading to the big game.

Dickerson has partnered with Aramark, the leading provider of food and beverage services to National Football League stadiums, including NRG Stadium in Houston. Super Bowl fans will have opportunities throughout the week before the game to taste Dickerson's barbecue at events being held at Minute Maid Park, George R. Brown Convention Center and NRG Park.

"Texas barbecue has always been very special to me," Dickerson said. "I'm excited to partner with Aramark to launch EDQ and am looking forward to sharing my family recipes with my great fans."

EDQ's menu will include Texas style ribs, brisket and pork using Dickerson’s secret for savory barbecue – the classic "mopping" technique.

"Eric Dickerson is one of the greatest football players of all time, who entertained fans with his record-setting runs, and we are honored to be working with him to bring together two of his greatest passions – football and barbecue," said Carl Mittleman, President of Aramark's Sports and Entertainment division. "His barbecue recipe has long been heralded by his circle of friends and we are eager to share his enthusiasm for great-tasting barbecue with a wider audience."

Aramark partners with 17 NFL teams including Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Diego Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tennessee Titans.
