HARRISON, Ohio — JTM Food Group, a processor of fully cooked ground beef patties and other food products for foodservice and retail customers, has broken ground on a new manufacturing plant at its Harrison headquarters.
The 193,000-sq.-ft. plant will feature a more efficient production line, JTM said, and is expected to produce nearly 1.5 million lbs. of “kettle” products (burrito fillings, macaroni and cheese, sauces, dips, soups, chili, etc.) each week. When the plant is completed, JTM said it will have the capacity to produce more than 100 million lbs. of “kettle” cooked product annually.
JTM’s new facility will be supported by a distribution center that has been under construction since August 2016.
