Chipotle
Customers using the chain's new online tool can make better menu choices for their dietary needs.

DENVER – Chipotle Mexican Grill is helping consumers count their calories with its new online tool. The chain has launched a dietary options page on its website that will show users which ingredients are right for specific dietary needs.

“Many New Year’s resolutions involve a pledge to live a more active and healthy lifestyle,” said Mark Crumpacker, chief marketing and development officer at Chipotle. “And our dietary options page can help you keep your New Year’s resolution this year. The tool makes it easy to customize your meal with fresh ingredients from our everyday menu so you can stay on track with your goals.”

The dietary options tab features various diets including lower fat, lower sodium, lower carb, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and paleo. Under each category there is a guide as to which Chipotle food options are best suited for each eating style. The ingredients guide is divided into “go for it,” “go easy” and “no go” foods from the Chipotle menu, and each page also features a nutrition calculator and meal ideas.
