Colleen Curley, a personal chef from Onsted, Ohio, took home $10,000 and bragging rights as the first-place finisher in the World Food Championships’ bacon division.

Curley’s winning dish was a filet mignon stuffed with bacon jam and served under a glass dome with applewood smoke. The 2016 competition was held in Orange Beach, Alabama. Curley was among 32 contestants in the bacon category, according to the World Food Championships website. She took second place in the 2015 World Food Championships in the bacon division.

Curley left a 20-year career in corporate human resources to start her own business, Cuisine with Colleen. She currently provides hands-on cooking classes, cooking lessons for teens and five-course menus for dinner parties.
