Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery is testing a “bacon bar” concept at its corporate restaurant in Tempe, Arizona, Nation’s Restaurant News reported.
Eight large, thick-cut pieces of bacon are available in six flavors: Chipotle raspberry, barbecue, garlic Parmesan, fiery and “naked” or plain. The slices are pre-cooked and seasoned, then reheated to order in a convection oven. Customers can buy individual slices for $1 apiece.
The bacon bar usually opens during happy hour and on weekends during football season.
