CHARLESTON, SC – The New Primal, makers of 100 percent grass-fed and free-range jerky has announced a new line of meat snacks produced just for children. The paleo-friendly meat sticks are .5 oz. meat sticks and sold in five pack bags. The products contain 6 g. of protein per serving and have a mild, non-spicy flavor for young palates.

Snack Mates come in easy to open packaging and are available in Classic Beef and Classic Turkey flavors. The New Primal uses pasture raised grass-fed/grass-finished beef and free-range turkey. The products are non-GMO, hormone- and antibiotic-free, gluten-free, soy-free, Paleo-Certified and are a top eight allergen friendly snack.

“As a nation, we are becoming more aware and concerned about what is being put into our food and how it is produced,” The New Primal founder Jason Burke said in a statement. “Our free range practice ensures the highest quality living conditions and produces healthier and better tasting jerky. Snack Mates will be available in natural grocery stores, grocery chains and outdoor retail stores beginning this month. They will retail for $5.99.
