Nevielle Panthaky brings 15 years of culinary experience to the restaurant chain.
 

GLENDALE, Calif. –IHOP restaurants has hired Nevielle Panthaky as its new vice president, culinary, in charge of directing the restaurant’s culinary strategy and team. Panthaky will be given the task of refining the chain’s signature food and beverage offerings in addition to developing and introducing exclusive promotional menus. He will assume his new role Sept. 26.

Panthaky will report to Kirk Thompson, senior vice president of marketing for IHOP and will be a key member of the IHOP leadership team.

“Nevielle's proven success in leading culinary teams for global franchised brands and at casual dining concepts brings a unique perspective to IHOP and his leadership ensures our menu remains inspired and contemporary,” Thompson said. “He has the know-how and the creativity to build on the signature foods and beverages that are hallmarks of the IHOP brand, introduce distinctive limited-time breakfast dishes that excite guests, and propel our lunch and dinner menus forward to meet the changing tastes and needs of our guests.”

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Panthaky comes to IHOP after working for Wok Holding’s P.F. Chang’s Bistro and Pei Wei Asian Diner where he served as vice president, culinary. During his 15-year culinary career, Panthaky also worked at Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, Union Square Hospitality Group and Panda Express. In addition, he worked as executive chef at Milestones Grill and Swiss Chalet, part of CARA Operations.
