FRANKFURT, Germany – The energy at the Poly-clip System booth throughout the 2016 IFFA (held May 4-9, 2016) was fueled by Poly-clip’s passion and commitment to provide the latest in clipping technology to the meat and poultry industry. The aisles, tradeshow floor and meeting areas were crowded with customers gathering to discuss the vast array of recently unveiled equipment and advancements that Poly-clip had to offer.

One notable debut was the launch of the FCA 100 and its big brother the FCA 140. The newly designed FCA series combines the robust design of the classic line workhorse, with the latest advancements in technology, hygiene and safety. For sausage processors who consider speed, reliability and efficiency among their requirements when investing in a clipper, the new FCA 100 and FCA 140 from Poly-clip System provide the shortest downtimes associated with casing change, cleaning and maintenance. Utilization of Poly-clip’s patented R-ID clip technology ensures a smooth closing procedure which requires less force for closure and a decrease in the load exerted on wear parts.

“This clipper delivers sausages with round shoulders and consistent, clean tails, as a result of the linear voiding separator,” said Gil Williams, president of Poly-clip System for USA and Canada.

In addition to the latest additions to the FCA family, other innovations worth mentioning include: the FCHL 160 all-in-one automatic clipping, looping and hanging machine and an “Intelligent Filling Clipping” (IFC) software interface that can synchronize the filling and clipping machine to increase productivity up to 10 percent. “These are solutions our customers asked for and we have delivered,” Williams said.

The commitment to innovation and impressive showcase of new products at the 2016 IFFA exhibition once again solidified Poly-clip System’s position as the world leader in clip closure systems.
