PARSIPPANY, NJ – Pinnacle Foods Inc. has named Michael E. Allen executive vice president and president of the company’s Boulder segment, effective Sept. 19. Allen joins Pinnacle Foods after working at the Kellogg Company since 1997. He replaces Phil Anson, interim Boulder general manager and founder of EVOL frozen foods, and will report to CEO Mark Clouse.

“We are excited to welcome Michael to Pinnacle Foods to lead our Boulder segment,” Clouse said. “Michael’s strong track record of growing brands and leading natural and organic businesses, as well as his personal passion for wellness, will help us realize the full potential of our Boulder business.”

Allen previously served as president of Kellogg’s Morning Foods Division, and prior to that role he served as president of the Frozen Foods Division from 2009-2013. Before joining Kellogg, Allen worked in marketing and advertising. He received his communications degree from Centennial College in Toronto.
