SEAFORD, Del. – To accommodate its recently expanded poultry processing plant in Harbeson, Delaware, Allen Harim has appointed several supervisors and managers to oversee the recently reopened facility, after completing a $30 million renovation to consolidate its processing operations.

Joe Moran, CEO of Allen Harim, a subsidiary of South Korea’s Harim Group, said the four key additions to the team are critical to the company’s growth plans. Kevin Gordon is the plant manager of the expanded facility; Rory DeWeese is the senior director of live operations; Tim Thomas is the director of transportation and strategic sourcing.

Gordon brings 34 years’ of industry experience to his position, while DeWeese has spent more than 26 years in live-production roles and Thomas has worked for 24 years in procurement. Grant has worked in HR and management with various companies for many years.

“I am confident this team will help us streamline all of our operations to ensure maximum efficiencies moving forward ensuring we produce the healthiest birds in the best environment possible,” Moran said. “And our increased focus on safety will ensure that all our employees get the necessary training and supervision to benefit them.”
