LEBANON, Tenn. – At 6:00 a.m. July 25, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store’s opened its first Nevada-based restaurant in Las Vegas as part of the company’s growth strategy. The company will open a second location in North Las Vegas in September of this year.

In recognition of the opening, the Clark County board of commissioners declared Monday, July 25, 2016, “Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Day” throughout Clark County and the greater Las Vegas area.

"I'm thrilled to finally welcome Cracker Barrel to Las Vegas and to Nevada," said Clark County Commissioner Susan Brager, who represents the area where the new store is located, in a statement. "I think it'll be so successful that Cracker Barrel will want to open a dozen more restaurants here."

The new location spans 10,000 sq. ft. at 8350 Dean Martin Drive. The store will bring 212 full and part-time jobs to the area. The new location puts the number of Cracker Barrel stores nationwide at 639.

"By bringing Cracker Barrel to Nevada and the Las Vegas community, we're able to share our love of country cooking and genuine hospitality with a new area of the country," said Robert Ramsey, general manager of the new Las Vegas location and member of the Cracker Barrel family for 17 years. "
