Martha Stewart for Martha & Marley Spoon
Martha Stewart's latest venture will be meal kits.

NEW YORK – Martha Stewart is moving beyond her cooking show on public television with the launch of a meal kit delivery subscription service.

Sequential Brands Group, which bought Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia last year, partnered with Marley Spoon, a subscription meal delivery service, to convert Stewart’s 18,000 recipes into meal kits. The kits include pre-portioned ingredients delivered in a chilled box containing dish bags that sort ingredients by recipe. Recipe cards with step-by-step instructions also are included.

“Martha & Marley Spoon is a great resource for making sure your busy family can enjoy wholesome, fresh, and tasty dinners every night of the week,” Stewart wrote in a blog post. “The easy-to-use subscription service provides pre-portioned ingredients from the best local purveyors and growers, along with step-by-step recipes - everything needed to prepare a nutritious and enjoyable meal.”

Price per-serving ranges from $8.90 to $10.25. Martha & Marley Spoon meal kits are available in a two-person box — ideal for two adults — and a family box with enough food for two adults and two children. Dishes include baked feta and tomatoes, crispy chicken thighs and sausage bake with beans and broccoli rabe, among others.
