Unicode 9.0 plans to release a bacon emoji.

Finally, bacon will be embedded in the texts of champions.

The Unicode Consortium, a non-profit organization that works to develop and maintain international software standards and data, plans to release 72 new emoji characters — among them, a bacon emoji.

This latest release features seven faces, seven people, seven hand gestures, 14 plants/animals, 18 food emoji, 12 sports emoji and a few others, according to the Unicode Blog.

The bacon emoji joins a plate of pancakes, a hot dog, a glass of milk, stuffed flatbread and other food-related characters in the release, which is tentatively scheduled for June 21. From that date, Apple, Google, Microsoft and other tech companies will be able to update iPhone, Galaxy, Windows and other devices that support emoji.
