WASHINGTON – ConAgra Foods recalled approximately 84,340 lbs. of packaged food products because the items were formulated with undeclared Worcestershire sauce, a known allergen, the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the US Dept. of Agriculture reported.
ConAgra became aware of an error associated with a shipment of Worcestershire sauce. The Worcestershire sauce was miscoded as Rochester sauce, and the miscoded product was used in the recalled items, FSIS said.
There have been no reports of illness or adverse reactions due to consumption of these products, the agency noted.
The affected items, which were produced between April 13 and April 14, include:
- 14-oz. box of “Marie Callender’s Salisbury Steak with Roasted Potatoes and Home-Style Gravy served with Cheesy Broccoli & Cauliflower” with package code of 5014610500 and packaging date of April 14, 2016.
- 76-oz. package of “Molly’s Kitchen Macaroni & Beef with Tomato Sauce” with package code of 5014610400 and packaging date of April 13, 2016.
