Mark Tritton, former executive vice-president of Nordstrom, has been named executive vice-president and chief merchandising officer of Target Corp.
MINNEAPOLIS — Mark Tritton has been named executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of Target Corp.

Previously, Tritton was executive vice-president of Nordstrom and president of Nordstrom Product Group. Before that, Tritton held leadership positions at Timberland and Nike.

“Over the past year, we’ve undergone an exhaustive search for a chief merchant, and I’m confident that Mark’s experience and passion make him the right fit for Target’s business and our team,” said Brian Cornell, chairman and CEO at Target. “He’s a bold, decisive leader, and he’ll play a critical role in guiding Target’s merchandising authority across all channels, ensuring we meet the ever-evolving wants and needs of our guests.”

 
Jason Goldberger will assume Target’s newly created role of chief digital officer as well as maintain his role as president of Target.com.
Additionally, Jason Goldberger will assume Target’s newly created role of chief digital officer as well as maintain his role as president ofTarget.com. Goldberger joined Target in 2013 and was named president ofTarget.comand mobile in 2014. Prior to Target, he held leadership positions with on-line retailers such as Amazon, Gilt Groupe andHayneedle.com.
