WASHINGTON – Ajinomoto Windsor Inc. launched a recall of approximately 47,112,256 lbs. of not-ready-to-eat meat and poultry products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the US Dept. of Agriculture reported.

CRF Frozen Foods notified Ajinomoto that its frozen vegetables used in Ajinomoto’s products were involved in a recall. CRF Frozen Foods of Pasco, Washington, launched a voluntary recall of frozen fruit and vegetable products due to an outbreak of listeriosis, FSIS said. Ajinomoto operates facilities in Fort Worth, Texas; Los Angeles; Carthage, Missouri; and Portland, Oregon,

The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 21225,” “EST. 9281,” “EST. 1623A” or “EST. 18356” inside the USDA mark of inspection, FSIS said. The affected items were shipped nationwide and to Canada and Mexico. A complete list of products is available on the FSIS website.
