As the Rio Olympics approach, McDonald's laid out its plans for the games.

OAK BROOK, Ill. – McDonald’s Corp. is ready for Rio. The company recently unveiled its plans for a restaurant and an expanded program for children at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

The restaurant will be in the International Zone of the Olympic Village in Barra Olympic Park. All-day breakfast is on the menu along with Chicken McNuggets, Big Macs, and fries. Local Brazilian favorites to be served include Pão de Queijo, which is a cheese roll, and the Egg, Cheese and Bacon sandwich.

And save room for dessert — McDonald’s said it is opening a dessert center that will serve McFlurry desserts featuring local flavors. At least 100 McDonald’s restaurants in and around Rio will be open and serving traditional Brazilian menu items.

Additionally, McDonald’s is sending children to participate in the opening ceremony of the games, a first for the company, which has been a partner of the games since 1996. For 2016, the McDonald’s Olympic Kids Program will allow nearly 100 children between the ages of 8 and 12 to experience Olympic competitions and meet athletes.
