ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Judy Werthauser has been named executive vice president and chief people officer of Domino’s Pizza. Previously, Werthauser was senior vice president of human resources at Target Corp. In her new role at Domino’s, she will be responsible for leading the company’s human resource organization. Domino’s employs more than 12,000 people at its company-owned stores.

Prior to joining Target in 2008, Werthauser was senior vice-president of human resources for US Bancorp in Minneapolis. She also has held senior human resources roles at Marshall Field’s department stores and was the operations leader and co-owner of Aljohn’s and Junkyard Retailers, a retailing and manufacturing company.

“Judy comes to us with broad human resources knowledge, covering retail, banking and education — and has even had the experience of an entrepreneur, having owned her own family business,” said J. Patrick Doyle, CEO of Domino’s. “I believe she is the right person to help guide us through the next phase of growth for our brand.”

Generating more than $8.9 billion in global retail sales in 2014, Domino’s Pizza has more than 12,100 stores in more than 80 international markets.
