Burger King 5 for $4 value meal
The burger wars are heating up with the addition of a new value meal from Burger King.

OAK BROOK, Ill. – On Jan. 4 McDonald’s Corp. debuted its McPick 2, coming on the heels of Dublin, Ohio-based The Wendy’s Company 4 for $4 deal announced last October. Tuesday, Burger King joined the party with its 5 for $4 deal, which follows the Miami-based chain’s 10-piece chicken nuggets for $1.49 deal introduced in November.

Beginning Jan. 5, consumers can order five items at Burger King, including a bacon cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, small fries, small drink and a chocolate chip cookie, for $4. Burger King did not announce how long the promotion will last.

With McDonald’s McPick 2, which lasts through Feb. 8, consumers can choose two items from a list of four — McDouble, McChicken, a small fry or mozzarella sticks — for $2.

Wendy's 4 for $4 deal includes a junior bacon cheeseburger, four chicken nuggets, small fries and a drink.
