CHICAGO – McCormick Place was the place to be Sept. 15-18 for this year’s PROCESS EXPO trade show. This 4-day trade show represents the pinnacle of food technology bringing together the world’s most successful food and beverage processors, equipment manufacturers and leaders in the field of academia.

Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) chairman, Gil Williams, and members of the FPSA board kicked off the show at the ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday morning. “Welcome to PROCESS EXPO 2015,” Williams said. “We have over 300,000 sq. ft. of exhibiting space and more than 1,000 exhibitors. I hope you all have a great show.”

PROCESS EXPO was held alongside the International Dairy Show and InterBev Process. Visitors were allowed to visit booths at all three events for the price of one registration.

“Between PROCESS EXPO, the International Dairy Show and InterBev Process we have over 1,000 exhibiting companies that offer a wide range of manufacturing solutions for the global food and beverage industries,” said David Seckman, FPSA president and CEO.

Show organizers promised attendees the chance to see:

• The nation’s largest collection of equipment manufacturers focused on food and beverage processing.

• New equipment and the latest technology in food and beverage processing and packaging.

• Educational sessions put on by speakers from the top university food science programs in the country.

• Food safety experts to assist with any challenge.

Throughout the 4-day show, attendees have had the opportunity to network both during booth visits as well as during two different social receptions, held at the end of the first and second day of the show.
Countless educational sessions, led by university experts from around the country, were held daily on the trade show floor. Visitors also had the chance to sit down for daily cooking lessons from an area chef at the Culinary Pavilion.

“Food processors are always looking for new and innovative technologies to provide them a competitive advantage,” Williams said. “In fact, this is why PROCESS EXPO was created many years ago, to help the food and beverage industry create products more efficiently and more safely to meet ever evolving consumer demands.”
