Bacon lovers looking for love need to look no further than an app on their smartphones. Thanks to Oscar Mayer, like-minded bacon lovers can find love with the new Sizzl app.

With Sizzl, users can find love based on a mutual love of bacon.

After downloading the app, users are asked to share their bacon ideology through a questionnaire that asks questions such as how you like your bacon cooked (crispy, chewy or burnt?) and whether they like turkey or pork bacon best.

Users then scroll through profiles and hold down a “Sizzl-meter” on a user’s profile to indicate their level of interest.

Oscar Mayer notes that Sizzl is indeed a real dating app. “Yes, it’s real and it’s incredible.”

“In love, as it is in bacon, it’s important to be discerning when selecting your perfect match and to never settle for less than the best,” says Eric Dahmer, Oscar Mayer’s marketing director, in a statement. “With the launch of Sizzl, we’re thrilled to give our true bacon lovers the chance to find each other and potentially meet their soulmates, in life and in bacon.”

“The only thing better than bacon is a woman who loves it as much as I do,” says 22-year-old Ethan, a Sizzl user from Amana, Iowa.

Even the Iowa Pork Producers Association is supporting the app: “Why not a dating app for bacon lovers? If anything puts sizzle in a relationship, it’s bacon!” says Ron Birkenholz, Iowa Pork Producers Association communications director.

For now, iPhone users can download the app for free.
