MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – Call if beef jerky on wheels.

The Beef Jerky Outlet, based in Seymour, Tenn., announced that Triune Specialty Trailers has completed design of “The Experience," a mobile Beef Jerky Outlet retail store. The customized trailer is the first trailer of its kind for the franchise.

"The Experience is an open trailer that will allow all to come in for a full sampling of what the Beef Jerky Outlet has to offer," said Paul Lyons, COO of the company. “This is a great opportunity to showcase our Beef Jerky Outlet store experience at large consumer events and tradeshows without losing that store effect.”

“The idea for the trailer started as a back-of-the-napkin sketch by the customer, and evolved into a knock-your-socks-off shopping experience,” said Harry Kurtz, president of Triune Specialty Trailers. “No detail was too small and the latest in trailer design and options were utilized.”

The high-tech trailer is equipped with custom stairs, removable signage panels, generator and internet capabilities for point-of-sale opportunities. It has a rear door with an ADA 12-volt lift to allow customers to enjoy the shopping and tasting experience. A fold-out stage with custom-lighted tent expands the trailer's retail space, yet allows it to fit in a 20 sq.-ft. parking or exhibit area. The Experience is outfitted with custom-stainless steel accented graphic wraps and aluminum skin for an eye-catching appearance, according to the company.
The Beef Jerky Outlet franchise said it has experienced 1,000 percent growth over the last 12 months and currently has 37 stores with an additional 63 scheduled for opening. Entrepreneur magazine rated Beef Jerky Outlet as No. 22 of the 75 Fastest-Growing Franchises.
