OMAHA, NEB. — Omaha Fire Department investigators are trying to determine whether a fire at the Nebraska Beef plant, which was contained to a storage area but still caused $60,000 in damages, was started by lightning early Sunday morning, according to WOWT.com.

The fire started around 3:30 a.m. that morning after storms containing much lightning rolled through the Omaha area. No one was hurt.

When firefighters arrived at the plant, they found smoke and flames pouring out a window on the third floor in the back of the building.
