Swanson turkey frozen dinner
Pinnacle Foods is recalling some Swanson brand frozen turkey dinners.

WASHINGTON – Fayetteville, Ark.-based Pinnacle Foods Group LLC has recalled 668,316 lbs. of poultry products after they were found to contain monosodium glutamate (MSG), which was not declared on the product label.

The products being recalled are 383 g frozen “Swanson Stuffing Baked Turkey” frozen dinners.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service and Pinnacle Foods are concerned the products may be frozen and in consumers’ freezers. However, the agency and the company have received no reports of adverse reactions associated with the products.

The frozen dinners were produced on various dates between Dec. 11, 2013, through June 9, 2015, and bear the establishment number “P-138” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The dinners were shipped to retail locations in Canada.
