McLobster
The McLobster is featured on McDonald's Canada menus.

TORONTO – Meat, poultry and seafood are among the new menu items at McDonald’s restaurants in Canada.

As part of the chain’s Great Canadian Taste Adventure, McDonald’s is offering for a limited time menu items inspired by the regional flavors of Canada’s provinces. Past items include the Cottage Country Chicken sandwich which features Ontario-raised chicken meat and a smoky muskoka sauce. The Alberta-inspired Western BBQ Burger is made with grass-fed beef raised in western Canada.

Available now is the Atlantic McLobster roll made with real Atlantic lobster. Atlantic Canada comprises New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Also on the menu are Maple & Bacon Poutine and a Nanaimo Sundae. A classic dish of french fries and cheese curds smothered in gravy, poutine is thought to have originated in Quebec in the 1950s. The crumble topping on the Nanaimo Sundae is sourced from British Columbia.
