WASHINGTON – Total Packaging of KY, Inc. is recalling approximately 18,000 lbs. of turkey and cheese lunch kits because the products contain egg, a known allergen that was not declared on the product label, the Food Safety and Inspection Service reported.

The lunch kits were shipped for institutional use only, and no reports of illness or adverse reactions have been made, FSIS noted. FSIS personnel discovered the problem while performing an operational sanitation task.

The lunch kits were produced on May 4, 5, 12 and 18. The affected products include four compartment plastic tray packages labeled “ANYTIME FOODS TURKEY & CHEESE LUNCH KIT.”

The product bears the establishment number “P6734A” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
