ST. LOUIS – Nathan’s Famous labels itself “the originator of fun.” So it’s no surprise the Lisle, Ill.-based hot dog company is teaming with Schnucks Supermarkets in St. Louis to sponsor a Guinness World Records attempt for most selfies taken simultaneously on Saturday, May 16, at Busch Stadium in St. Louis when the Cardinals take on the Detroit Tigers. An adjudicator from Guinness World Records will be on-site to immediately verify and confirm whether the record is set.

“There is absolutely no better way to kick-off our Original Selfie Sweepstakes than attempting a Guinness World Records title for most selfies taken at one time with our partners at Schnucks Supermarkets and the St. Louis Cardinals," said Mike Paribello, senior director of marketing for Nathan's Famous. “We're thrilled that eight-time defending National Hot Dog Eating Contest Champion Joey Chestnut will be with us for the attempt and hope we fill the stadium with Cardinals’ fans.

All fans who participate can enter the sweepstakes when it opens on Monday, May 18, for a chance to win several prizes. Fans are encouraged to post selfies all summer long for chances to win monthly grand prizes as well as having instant win opportunities. Each week, one lucky winner will be proclaimed the Fan of the Week for the photo posted on the website. For more information and complete rules, please visit www.NathansSelfie.com on May 18.
