HENDERSON, Colo. — Kelly Green, owner and chairman of the board at Birko, will participate as a panelist at Colorado State Univ.’s “Summit on Advancing the Agriculture Economy Through Innovation,” scheduled for March 19.

Green and other industry leaders will discuss the global food system being built upon the convergence of people, animals, products and the environment. The workshop is scheduled for 3:10-4:00 p.m. in the Lory Student Center on the CSU campus.

Green was recognized as a 2014 Woman of Influence in the Food Industry by The Griffin Report of Food Marketing. She also was named a finalist for the 2012 and 2014 Outstanding Women in Business award, sponsored by the Denver Business Journal.
