WASHINGTON – Morrilton Packing Co., a privately owned meat processor based in Morrilton, Ark., is recalling approximately 12,146 lbs. of boneless ham products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the US Dept. of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced Wednesday. The product contains soy, which was not declared on the product label.

The problem was discovered by plant management during a review of labels. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions by anyone who has consumed these products.

The following product is subject to recall:
• 8-9-lb. plastic wrapped packages containing a single boneless ham with the label “Cedar Falls Brand Boneless Hickory Smoked Honey Cured Ham” containing a code date I14, I22, or I15.

The boneless hickory smoked honey ham was produced on Oct. 1, and Oct. 4, 2015. The product bears the establishment number “EST. 10646” inside the USDA mark of inspection, and was shipped to a single distributor in Arkansas.
