ATLANTA – The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention launched a publication that features solutions and strategies aimed at improving workplace safety.

Business Pulse: Workplace Safety and Health includes science-based strategies to promote worker safety and health from the CDC’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). CDC estimates that worker injuries and illnesses cost employers $263 billion.


The most recent issue ofBusiness Pulsefeatures an interactive infographic that provides useful facts and links to NIOSH programs and online CDC resources developed to help employers protect and promote the health of workers. “Businesses can take practical steps to address these concerns and improve the health and safety of their workforce and increase productivity,” CDC said.
