Mama Cozzie's Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza
Undeclared soy led to a recall of Mama Cozzi's Pizza Kitchen products.

WASHINGTON – Nation Pizza of Schaumburg, Ill., issued a recall of 59,028 lbs. of frozen Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen products due to undeclared soy, the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the US Dept. of Agriculture reported. In-plant review activities uncovered the problem.

The affected products, Mama Cozzi’s Pizza Kitchen Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizzas, were produced between Aug. 25 and Nov. 9. Recalled products include 27.5 oz. carton containing one “MAMA COZZI’S RISING CRUST PEPPERONI PIZZA.” The products bear the establishment number “EST. 1682A” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The pizzas were shipped exclusively to ALDI grocery stores in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee, FSIS said. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.
