The company will invest approximately $2 million in its facility in Forest, Miss., and another $33 million in a plant in Morton. Before the expansions, Koch Foods renovated the Forest plant and is currently constructing additions totaling 32,000 sq. ft. at the Morton facility. Combined, the expansions will create 203 jobs. Koch Foods currently employs 3,200 individuals in Scott County.

The Mississippi Development Authority is supporting the construction projects by providing for road improvements. Scott County and the cities of Forest and Morton also contributed assistance.
Koch Foods is a vertically integrated poultry processor producing fresh and frozen products under the Koch Foods, Antioch Farms, Preferred Foods and Rogers Royal brands in addition to other custom and private labels.
