AUSTIN, Minn. – Hormel Foods Corporation made several executive leadership appointments as a result of the election of James P. Snee as president and COO of the company.

Larry Vorpahl

Larry L. Vorpahl was named group vice president and president of Hormel Foods International. Vorpahl joined Hormel Foods in 1986. He has held several posts in product management and marketing. He was named vice president of marketing in 1999. In 2003, he became vice president and general manager, Grocery Products, where he oversaw the company’s Grocery Products division. He was promoted to his current role of group vice president and president of consumer products sales of in October 2005.

Deanna Brady

Deanna T. Brady succeeds Vorpahl as group vice president and president of consumer products sales. She started her career with Hormel in 1996 in the foodservice division and has held various foodservice sales management positions throughout the United States. In 2003, Brady was promoted to foodservice regional manager in Los Angeles. She was promoted to vice president, foodservice sales, in 2007, and became group vice president of foodservice in October 2013.

Jeffrey R. Baker, vice president of marketing, foodservice, will advance to group vice president, foodservice. Baker has worked for Hormel since 1990. He held product manager positions for smoked meats and sausage before rising to the meat products district manager in Buffalo, NY in 2001. The next year, he was promoted senior product manager, meat products, and became the group product manager for meat products three years later. In 2009, Baker was promoted to director of fresh meats marketing at Precept Foods before assuming his most recent role as vice president of marketing, foodservice in 2012. 

David Weber, vice president of marketing, foodservice, Hormel
David Weber

David F. Weber has advanced to vice president of marketing, foodservice. Prior to his promotion, he held several foodservice sales and product manager positions for Hormel throughout the US. In 2006, Weber was promoted to foodservice regional manager in Charlotte, NC. He assumed his current position as president of Burke Corp., a subsidiary of Hormel Foods, in 2012.
