ATLANTA – Smithfield Foods and Waffle House announced a partnership with Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) to reward frequent diners by offering them a chance to win a NASCAR weekend experience. By launching a new, custom mobile app, race fans can earn and track reward points for a chance to win VIP access to the Oct. 11 Charlotte Cup Race, which includes tickets to the race, a pit and garage tour and a Ridealong Experience with the Richard Petty Driving School.

Smithfield and Waffle House representatives, together with RPM No. 43 driver Aric Almirola, hosted a press on the morning of July 1 to announce the promotion. The team unveiled a new paint scheme for the No. 43 Smithfield Ford, featuring Waffle House, to run during the October Charlotte Cup Race.

“Waffle House is one of our largest foodservice partners, serving a variety of Smithfield products including pork chops, bacon and breakfast ham,” said Dennis Pittman, director of corporate communications and public affairs for Smithfield. “This promotion is a unique and fun way for us to engage race fans and Waffle House patrons alike, expressing our appreciation for their loyalty through a variety of rewards.”
