Diners can order Loaded Waffle Fries to go with breaded chicken strips and an ice-cold beer.

VAUGHAN, Ontario – KFC Fresh has been a success in Canada, and now franchisees are looking to grow the urban fast casual concept with a new location and beer on the menu.

"KFC Fresh began as Canada's incubator for signature innovation, so we're delighted to announce that we're expanding and evolving the concept with a new location at the Stockyards mall in Toronto and an expanded menu," said Nicolas Burquier, general manager of KFC Canada.

The original KFC Fresh location is a 1,200 sq. ft. space in Toronto's Bloor Street business and shopping district. The KFC Fresh concept features an open kitchen that allows diners to see their food prepared. Menu offerings include Hand Crafted Sandwiches, Off the Grill Wraps, Kitchen Fresh Rice Bowls and Salads.

"KFC Fresh hand crafted sandwiches and freshly grilled chicken wraps are stacked with taste that pairs perfectly with a cold beer," said David Vivenes, KFC Canada's chief marketing officer. "We'll be serving Molson Canadian, Coors Light, Coors Banquet and Heineken beers starting sometime this Fall."
