Northern Natural Processing LP, Neudorf, Saskatchewan, cannot resume operations until the company implements corrective measures required to ensure the safety of meat products produced at the plant, CFIA said in a statement.
"The CFIA has determined adequate controls for food safety were not being reliably implemented in the facility on a consistent basis," the agency noted.
ATimes Colonistreport states the company owns mid-sized beef slaughter and packing plants in Wolseley and Neudorf.
