CHICAGO — A strategic partnership formed between Technomic and GuestMetrics was created to provide detailed market analysis on consumer foodservice expenditures. As a result of the partnership, Technomic will develop detailed analytics and reports using GuestMetrics’ aggregated point-of-sale data from more than 2,500 restaurant, bar and other away-from-home locations in 10 markets nationally.
Using GuestMetric’s data, Technomic will also develop unique analysis and reporting tools on food consumption and beverage alcohol sales away-from-home.
Both firms said they are upbeat about having the opportunity to create products to fill the need for detailed data on away-from-home consumption and to pool their expertise and resources to deliver sales analysis within the foodservice channel.
