The new sandwich features two beef-burger patties layered side-by-side on a toasted hoagie bun. Toppings include cheese, onion rings and barbecue sauce. The Extra Long BBQ Cheeseburger is available for a suggested price of $3.59. The new sandwich is also a part of Burger King's two for $5 menu along with the Big King sandwich, the Chicken Big King Sandwich, Original Chicken Sandwich and Big Fish Sandwich, according to the company.
“The new savory Extra Long BBQ Cheeseburger is a fun twist on a classic burger,” said Eric Hirschhorn, chief marketing officer, North America, Burger King Corp. “Instead of stacking the patties, we’ve placed them side by side and topped them with two summer favorites, crispy onion rings and sweet BBQ sauce.”
