J&B Sausage Co., Waelder, Texas, recalled an additional 9,909 lbs. of chicken products. The company recently announced a recall of 45,904 lbs. of chicken and beef products because of undeclared peanut protein. The latest recall includes products that were produced on various dates between Aug. 19 and Dec. 2, FSIS said.
Products subject to the expanded recall include 12-oz. packages of fully cooked “CAJUN HOLLAR BRAND INC. CREOLE STYLE BOUDIN.” The products bear the establishment number “EST. 7066 or P-7066” inside the USDA mark of inspection. FSIS said the items were shipped to retail locations in Texas.
Also announcing a recall is Campos Foods LLC, in Caryville, Tenn. The company is recalling approximately 5,300 lbs. of chicken products that were produced on Dec. 2. The affected items include bulk boxes containing various weights of 90 pieces of “ROCKIN’ ROASTED ROASTED CHICKEN DRUM & THIGH (With Back) Smoke Flavor Added” and 16-lb. bulk boxes containing approximately 32 pieces of “ROCKIN’ ROASTED ROASTED CHICKEN QUARTERS Smoke Flavor Added”. The products bear the establishment number “P-2260T” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to distribution centers nationwide.
So far, there have been no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the recalled products, FSIS noted.
