The acquisition offers many synergies in further processed beef and chicken products for grocery-retail, foodservice and schools and institutions. Pro View produces a broad range of whole muscle and formed, ready-to-cook chicken products in a variety of flavor and breading profiles. John Soules Foods is a leading supplier of ready-to-cook and fully-cooked beef and chicken fajitas in addition to a variety of other high quality, fully-cooked protein products.
John Soules Jr., and Mark Soules will be co-CEOs of the combined companies, and Jan Cooley, CEO of Pro View Foods, will move into an advisory role. The current Pro View Foods management team, employees and facilities will be integrated into John Soules Foods’ operations.

Pro View will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of John Soules Foods and will continue to operate in Gainesville under the Pro View Foods name. John Soules Foods will have approximately 1,225 total employees, with approximately 475 employees at the JSF facility in Tyler; and approximately 750 employees at Pro View Foods’ three facilities in Georgia. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
